Welcome, lovely people!

Heartfelt. Funny. Serious. Warm. Quirky.

Traditional and anything but.

Unforgettable.

A ceremony with me is one that is created for you. Let's get your favourite people laughing and crying, and even joining in - that said, I can also be employed to tackle anyone who tries to steal your thunder.

Sarah O'Grady celebrant services are about celebrating life and love.

About me...

Hi, I'm Sarah (she/her). I am a civil celebrant, teacher, mum, wife, sister, aunty, daughter and friend - the order of those roles depends on the day and time! I am a lover of words and their power. I love being outdoors, whether camping, hiking or playing footy. I love a good creative challenge. I smile from ear to ear when I get to see people celebrating their love.

Notes from my lovers...

How does it work?

Number 1

We meet for a free chat. Let me buy you a drink or a coffee and if you decide that I'm not the one there's no hard feelings. But if the alchemy is real, let's move on to a second date.

Number 2

We get planning! I'll get you set up with all the official paperwork you need to complete and will take some time to get to know you both face-to-face and through a questionnaire.

Number 3

I will disappear and write your ceremony script. You can have as much or as little input as you wish depending on your chosen package.

Number 4

Your ceremony comes to life! We celebrate, you party and I'll tie up all the legal stuff.

LGBTIQA+ Flag
Aboriginal Flag
Torres Strait Islander flag

I value inclusivity, respect and accessibility, and my ceremonies are designed with these values at the forefront. If this aligns with your values, too, come celebrate with me!

I acknowledge the First Nations peoples of Australia as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, love and celebrate. I pay my deep respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
